Designer Peter Kim created art project Methamphibian in an effort to encourage a community of designers to apply their aesthetics to everyday items. Methamphibian puts out premium priced shirts, pants and shoes which have been worn by finicky art fans around the world. The custom Nike Dunk Lows shown in this entry are part of a series of shoes called the Skulls of Saigon.
These shoes are out of reach for many sneaker fans due to their $480 sticker price as well as a limited number of sizes available. If you can scrounge up enough money, you will realize that these shoes are a good investment. We all know the quality and comfort of the untouched Nike Dunk Low. The inclusion of turquoise and pink accents on the shoe as well as a series of ominous skulls in black and white make this pair of sneakers an example of life’s contrasts.

Nike SB employees must love music with their recent designs influenced by rock bands and musical instruments. Their newest creation is a Nike Dunk Mid with colors very close to a Fender Bass. The shoe features different shades of brown, silver accents and a black and pink splatter design around the ankle.

DC shoes..

Subtext was the location for the recent opening of the KICKS art show thrown in conjunction with DC Shoes. The exhibition involved 19 artists each creating their own interpretation on the DC Gatsby sneaker. The shoes were part of a larger effort to raise funds for the Southern California Wild Fire Relief Fund. The list of influential artists included Ronald Kurniawan, Aaron Martin (Angry Woebots), Ekundayo, Miles Donovan, Julie West, KMNDZ, Sita Lawton, Aaron Thomas, DIRE, Josh Kenyon, Colby, Nichols, Jasper Wong, Marco Zamora, James Jirat Patradoon, Josh Taylor, Sandra Equihua, Cole Gerst (Option-G), & David Foldvari.

I enjoy writing on my free time..and therefore this blog is my "sweet escape" so to speak. so yea..it pretty much allows me to post random things that are cool in my opinion..i also like taking random pictures..such as those below..

Haha..i like that macaroni & cheese color..and by the way i found those crayons quite fascinating while i was sitting in Geometry class!

So yea..today in english class..to my surprise..we had an assessment to do..but to me they are more like "ass-essments"..

I really do hate those things..i just think they are a waste of time..like the CST`s and the Star Tests @ the end of the year aren't enough! & on top of that..some teachers like to put our score in as a test grade..i mean come on..GIMME A BREAK!

So for me..they are pretty much..BLAHH!!

and im like.."shall we compare answers?"..lmao..its a JOKE!!

There is this game called "Skate or Die" that came out in like 1987..and it was pretty popular back then..

So now..Nike SB is comin out with these new "Skate or Die" dunks..and they are pretty fresh if u ask me..they should be coming out some time in February.
